The Airport began a multi-million dollar roadway renovation in the Spring of 2007. This project includes complete reconstruction of most of the major roads at the Airport, as well as the Parking lot.
Phase 1: Construct roundabout intersection for Horizon and Walker Field Drive (See #1 on the map below.)
Phase 1A: Continue Phase 1 work. Construct new detour road for terminal drop off. Set up two-way traffic at south entry gate. Construct roundabout at Aviators Way and Eagle Drive. Construct new parking lot entry roads. Continue parking lot construction.
Phase 2: Construct parking lot exit. Construct passenger drop off area in front of the terminal.
Phase 2A: Open south roundabout. Open passenger drop off area in front of the terminal. Open roundabout at Aviators Way and Eagle Drive. Close Eagle Drive at Navigators Way. Construct the final portion of Eagle Drive.
Phase 3: Construct west roundabout. Construct Falcon Way.
